Land of the brave
The  name of the hotel is similar to the name of the national anthem of Nambia. The hotel just like the national anthem tells us the story of a country which had to deal with colonization by different countries. Through the colonization, the Nambian culture is influenced by all of those different countries. The hotel is based on all of the different characteristics the Namibian culture is known for. Including the characteristics of the countries that have colonized Namibia.

A hotel based in Ondekarema, Namibia. The rooms do not have doors to the hallway, which is communal. The doors are missing so the interaction between the guests is stimulated.
They still have their own private rooms but without the doors they are invited to enjoy the view from every other angle and talk about the history of the country and the adventures of their stay.

Namibia is known for its beautiful sunsets and sunrises, in every room the guests can see either one. There are stairs in every room which leads to a place were you can enjoy the view, for example of the sunset, while you relax in the hammock which hangs from the top of the stairs all the way down. The sun rises at one side and sets on the other side. In the hallways/ the common rooms there is a balcony where you and the others staying in the hotel can enjoy the view.
